Community Book Drives
You collect the books. We get them quickly into the community where they are needed most.
United Way of Madison County has instant connections to more than a dozen quality organizations in Madison County who serve children and adults. Many of those individuals being served do not have books of their own. Book ownership is key to becoming a reader and you can help!
Book Drive A-B-C's:

Make a plan. Decide how many days or weeks you would like to run your book drive, what types of books you will collect, what your “catch phrase” or theme will be to draw attention and build excitement, and how you will market it to your community. Creating a simple plan with YOUR idea is key. |

Hold your kick off and drive, then deliver the books to United Way of Madison County or our drop off location. We will take your picture with your donations (parent permission required if minors are involved), celebrate your generosity and put those books to work! |
